Rugby is a gentlemen sport and we learned that this weekend in our hardest game of the season. Even while we were being beaten down and scored on, we kept level heads and found a way to still have fun while playing the game. we are now 2-1 on the season with 3 more games to go until play-offs start, and we are thankful to be where we are.

          Rush RFC is becoming a very strong force in Idaho. We are playing well and are excited for our season opener this Saturday. We have a lot to prove this season with our skill and abilities and we look forward to the road ahead.  

             Perfect practice makes perfect and this team has for sure learned that. As a whole, we are coming together and playing well even in the deep snow. We are going to be able to catch and run better than most other teams because of it and we will benefit. This sleeping giant has been awoken and we are not to be messed with.

Brothers

              For the past three years I have had the privilege to play this amazing sport with two of my best friends. For years before I convinced them to play Rugby we would do dumb things together and we have always been close friends. Once they both started playing, our friendship has only grown stronger. Our last year playing in high school together will be an emotional end, but I would not want to play with any one else.
  
              The entire team has been looking spectacular so far and I cannot wait to start playing games.
   

                                                                            The Scrum
           I can not manage to ever forget this day. It was freezing, raining/snowing and muddy. Of all the unforgettable moments through my past seasons, this day of games was my favorite. We came together as a team and decided the rain was more fun to play in. Going back I would get rid of the freezing temperature, but altogether it was a fantastic day of camaraderie. So far this season, we have been practicing in a foot or more of snow, which is not ideal by any means, but I can tell you that we are going to be ridiculously fast when it melts. Rush has only been practicing for about a week now, but already I have seen so much talent, leadership and good people that I am proud to call my brothers.

        About six years ago, I discovered the sport of Rugby through one of my good friends. At the time, I was too young to play on the team and was only able to watch the games. From the first time I witnessed the sport I was addicted. It fascinated me and made me want to get involved. Two years went by and I was a freshman and was able to participate in the sport that had completely consumed my mind. Since I had never actually played before, Rugby was very new still. It wasn't until the first game that I had played in that I knew that this was meant for me. As the years progressed I rose higher in skill and strength. I was more aware on the field, and I made life long friends that I still keep in touch with to this day. This, my Senior season, is marked with obstacles. These obstacles range from finding new players, to finding somewhere to put a pitch.

As a team, Rush Rugby can overcome anything. I hope you stay up on this exciting season as we train and prepare to dominate on and off the field.
